Last month, we shared the leaks surrounding GTA 6 and its storyline, which indicated that Lucia would be the central character. It seems those leaks were accurate, to the point that Rockstar was keen on removing them entirely from the internet.
The leaks stated that Lucia is the main character in the story of GTA 6, which was clearly evident in the game's reveal trailer, where the focus was heavily on Lucia, while Jason appeared as a secondary character following her orders.
According to the leaker, we will receive an opening mission for each character individually, and the story was described as being more human this time, focusing on criminals, their families, and their relationships. However, the length of the story will be shorter than RDR 2. In exchange, there will be massive side content, with some missions inspired by Fast & Furious, and many more set in remote and rural areas.
The leaker adds that the story will feature corrupt political officials, police officers, and Russian gangs. As for gameplay, many of the mechanics from RDR2 will be present in GTA 6. Regarding performance, the game will offer both performance and fidelity modes on consoles.
Why does this leak seem accurate? The reason is that the leaker received a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) from Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar, which indicates that this information is likely true. The company had not taken action to remove hundreds of previous leaked details in any way.
